1) Use colors
Using dull colors in the office doesn’t contribute to creativity. Colors help improve everyone’s temperament and disposition, not only in offices but in a wide variety of settings. It’s a cheap and simple solution to transform the work environment into a more welcoming place. Colors can be used on walls, furniture, in artistic murals, etc.

Each person personalizes their workspace according to their personality. This makes the work environment much more welcoming and inviting. Within certain limits, hold a contest to determine the best decor for the workspace. You can do this once or twice a year, dividing the decor by department and theme. Relate each theme to company goals. For example, one department could have an «extreme sports» theme to remind everyone or emphasize that we must go to extremes for our customers. Another department could have a «pirate» theme to remind everyone that there are always many hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.
4) Celebrate commemorative dates
Holding activities to celebrate special dates can be very motivating for everyone. These promote interaction between team members and new partnerships. They can also be used for anniversaries and milestones achieved. Celebrating these achievements is very important, as it gives a positive impact to those goals.
5) Innovate with a Casual Day
How about changing up the traditional? Once a month, you can implement a Casual Day, where everyone can come to the office in a different outfit. You can do this based on specific themes and even create variations like a «traditional day» or a «fantasy day.» You can organize themes like the World Cup, Carnival, Comic Book Festival, and much more.
